GAMTI courses aren’t published because a deadline arrived. Every piece of curriculum passes through a structured academic and editorial review before it reaches your team. Here’s how that process actually works.
Certifications earned, not attended.
GAMTI certifications are awarded only on completion of a structured program with assessed modules, not for showing up or paying a registration fee. That standard starts long before a learner ever sees a course. It starts with how the course itself gets approved.

Every GAMTI course passes through a defined sequence before it becomes part of a certification pathway. No course reaches a learner without being written by a practitioner and independently reviewed.
Built by dedicated experts
All GAMTI courses are built by dedicated experts, members of The GAMTI Faculty with direct, current experience in the subject, grounded in real operational scenarios rather than academic theory disconnected from practice.
Reviewed by someone who didn't write it
Every course is then reviewed by a qualified reviewer who had no part in creating it. They check accuracy, depth, structure and assessment design, and whether the content genuinely reflects how the role works today. Reviewers are commissioned course by course, independently of the author.
Shared with The GAMTI Advisory Board
The course is then made available to The GAMTI Advisory Board. Its members, senior leaders from across the assistance, insurance, air ambulance, and medical transport industry who serve as unpaid volunteers, have the opportunity to review it and contribute their experience, expertise and input.
Publication & ongoing review
Once approved, a course is published to the catalog and, where relevant, mapped into one or more certification pathways. Published courses are periodically reviewed against evolving industry practice; content that no longer reflects current standards is revised.

GAMTI Faculty
Practitioners with direct, current industry experience who write and teach the curriculum, from air ambulance operations to fraud risk management to intercultural communication. Nobody assesses their own work: every course they write goes to a separate reviewer before it is published.
Advisory Board
Senior professionals from across the assistance, insurance, air ambulance, and medical transport industry who support GAMTI’s mission and vision, lending their experience, expertise, and leadership to help shape the industry. They serve as volunteers and are not paid by GAMTI, and may review content for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with how the role actually works today.

The review doesn't end at launch.
A GAMTI certification is valid for three years. Keeping it active requires Continuing Professional Development. The same review discipline applied to new content is what keeps existing content worth renewing against.
Regularly updated
All GAMTI courses are regularly reviewed and updated to make sure they stay current with evolving industry practice, regulation, and technology, not left untouched once published.
Learner feedback
Students have the opportunity to provide feedback after completing a course. That feedback feeds directly back into how a course is refined and reviewed going forward.

It continues. All GAMTI courses are regularly reviewed and updated to stay current with evolving industry practice, and Continuing Professional Development keeps the standard behind every certification current, not frozen at the moment it launched.
